作为AMPP标准技术委员会成员的年度“工作周”，AMPP标准技术交流会（简称STE会议, 之前的腐蚀技术周CTW），将于2022年10月30日至11月2日在美国佛罗里达州坦帕市举行。此次会议分为线上和线下两种参会方式，欢迎业内专家在截止日9月19日之前提前注册。

 

AMPP Standards and Technical Exchange – Register Earlier to Save！

As the annual "work week" for members of AMPP standards and technical committees, AMPP Standards and Technical Exchange, STE (formerly known as Corrosion Technology Week, CTW) will be held from Oct 30 – Nov 2, 2022, in Tampa, FL, USA.  Advance registration for virtual or in-person is due on Sept 19, 2022.  Register now to save!

通过中国石油规划总院和外国相关专家的紧密合作和充分沟通，标准项目工作组TM 21476在7月份成功提交标准草案。TM 21476主要致力于油气管道的原位pH获取方法。在提交标准草案后，后续会向标准委员会发起投票申请，进入标准草案投票环节。相信更高效、技术关注度更高的标准制定流程，会推动腐蚀技术在更广泛的行业中起到重要作用。

 

AMPP近期发布的标准/技术报告刊登在AMPP官方网站的标准介绍网页上，AMPP各标准委员会正在制定的标准清单可点击此处查询。

AMPP Standards

Standard Project Team, TM 21476 successfully submitted the draft standard in July through close cooperation and full communication between the experts from PetroChina Planning & Engineering Institute (CPPEI) and those from overseas.  A ballot request will be issued to the Standards Committee.  TM 21476 is intended to focus on test methods for determining in-situ pH value in oil & gas pipelines.  Higher efficiency and more technical focus on standard development process will certainly help advance corrosion technology in a broader industry range.

培训和考试

AMPP高级认证涂装检验员（原CIP 3级，同行评审）考试7月20日-22日在上海成功重启。CIP 3级同行评审考试是全程口试考试，由6道理论题和4道实践题组成。在获得5年相关工作经验并通过同行评审考试后，该检验员在涂装检验行业相关各方面的能力都会被认为能体现出“专家级水平”。

 

阴极保护干扰课程也在7月25日至29日如期举行。随着埋地管线安全问题的日益严重，管线腐蚀状态和腐蚀探测技术日益受到业主、设计院所和政府机构的重视。业内人士逐渐认识到，阴极保护干扰是引起城市埋地管线腐蚀的重要原因。本课程侧重交流、直流和埋地电流干扰，同时深度涵盖干扰识别和干扰缓解技术的理论和实际应用。

 

请注意，由于Pearson网站的技术问题，目前无法在线查询考试报告，Pearson的技术部门正在解决该问题的过程中。另外，从今年7月1日开始，CBT补考费用有所调整。有关更多详情，请随时联系AMPP客服。

 

Education and CBT

AMPP Senior Certified Coatings Inspector exam (NACE CIP Level 3, Peer Review) took place from July 20 to 22 in Shanghai successfully.  This Peer Review Exam is an oral exam consisting of 6 theoretical and 4 practical questions.  After completing 5 years of inspection-related work and successfully passing this peer review exam, the inspector will be recognized to have “expert knowledge” of all relevant competencies identified for coating inspection projects.

 

Cathodic Protection Interference was also offered from July 25 to 29 as scheduled. With the increasingly serious safety problems caused by buried pipelines, pipeline corrosion status and corrosion detection technology have been paid more and more attention by owners, design institutes, and government agencies.  Cathodic Protection Interference is getting known as a key factor to cause corrosion, especially for buried pipelines in cities.  This course focuses on AC, DC, and telluric interference. It also provides in-depth coverage of both concepts and practical applications of interference identification and mitigation techniques.

 

Please note that due to the Pearson Vue System issue, the CBT score report is not available at this moment.  Pearson Vue's technical department is working on it currently.  In addition, there is a price adjustment for retaking CBT exams effective July 1, 2022.   Please contact AMPP Customer Support for more info.
