We Heard You – Increasing the Value of AMPP Corporate Membership
In March, we announced updates to AMPP membership, directly informed by your input. We know you want more for your AMPP Corporate Membership, and we're thrilled to announce that we are delivering!

On April 24, 2024, the world unites against a common enemy: corrosion. We're excited to announce "Corrosion Around the Clock," a global social media campaign orchestrated by AMPP, alongside the World Corrosion Organization and the European Federation of Corrosion. This initiative aims to spotlight the global corrosion challenge through synchronized LinkedIn posts at 08:00 in each UTC zone, featuring insights from AMPP chapters, partner organizations, and members worldwide.
Join the conversation and track the campaign's global journey using hashtags #CorrosionAroundTheClock and #WCAD. This unique initiative offers an unprecedented opportunity for you to engage in a global dialogue, emphasizing the importance of combating corrosion together. Your voice matters in this global conversation.
Your participation will help elevate the conversation and drive collective action toward a more sustainable and corrosion-resistant world.
The AMPP Chapter Officer terms will begin a transition to align with the calendar year with other program committees. To facilitate this change, we will extend the terms of our current chapter officers through December 31, 2024.
The 2024 Chapter Officer election process will begin in October, instead of the usual April timeframe
AMPP MEMBER MOMENTS
A Special Meeting at Kennedy Space Center
Last month, the AMPP Central Florida Chapter, in collaboration with NASA personnel, hosted a Chapter meeting at Kennedy Space Center. KSC’s corrosion engineers provided a brief history of corrosion at NASA’s KSC and recent challenges with the new reuse of launch support equipment.
The team then led members for a personal tour of the beachside test site. We are extremely proud, and grateful, to have been able to provide this amazing opportunity to Florida AMPP members!
