Sherwin-Williams and Partners Triumph in AMPP 2023 Project Awards. 

AMPP Encourages 2024 Submissions

Honoring remarkable projects and the dedication that makes them possible, AMPP proudly awarded Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine and its project partners three of the seven coveted AMPP Project of the Year Awards last year.

Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine's recognition spanned a community service project and demonstrated excellence in technical support of materials protection systems and managing a complex materials protection project. This acknowledgment highlights their commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.

The AMPP Project Awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in diverse categories, including new construction, maintenance, and community service projects. Your achievements could be showcased in March at the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

AMPP Joins Tomorrow’s Workforce Coalition for 529 Savings Plan Expansion

AMPP, with more than 500 trade associations, professional societies, businesses, and employers, joined the Tomorrow’s Workforce Coalition to establish and build support for the Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act (S. 722 / H.R. 1477).

The bipartisan, bicameral bill seeks to broaden qualified expenses in 529 savings plans to encompass postsecondary training and certifications and cover expenses relating to their workforce training programs.

AMPP Houston Chapter Meeting  

At the August AMPP Houston Chapter meeting, members came together and were excited to have a local legend, Mattress Mack, as their guest speaker. He addressed the significance of strong work ethics and the "corrosion of people.”

The Chapter also congratulated all of its 2023 scholarship recipients in person. The chapter provided a record number of scholarships this year to students attending various schools across the United States.
