To ensure you never miss what’s being talked about within your AMPP communities, it's essential to update your notification settings to match your preferences. Whether you want real-time updates every time a member sparks a discussion, or you prefer a neatly packaged daily digest summarizing all the day's comments, AMPP puts you in control. And for those who wish for uninterrupted peace, there's an option to opt out of communication notifications entirely. To tailor your experience, simply sign in to AMPP, navigate to your profile, select 'My Settings', and then 'Community Notifications'. Here, you'll find the power to customize how you stay connected with each community you belong to, with choices ranging from 'No email' to 'Real Time', to 'Daily Digest'. Adjust these settings to stay informed in the way that suits you best.

AMPP GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS

After a few weeks of confusion, the House of Representatives elected Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) to be the new Speaker of the House in late October. This came after the chamber elected to vote former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) out of office earlier in the month. Congress is now working on several appropriations packages, which include a new Continuing Resolution (CR) to continue to fund the government and send military and foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine.  Congress only has until November 17^th before government funding runs out.  

Decisions made on Capitol Hill have a direct impact on both AMPP members and the corrosion prevention and coatings industry. AMPP is actively engaged in reshaping how the federal government approaches and mitigates corrosion challenges. Be among the first to know about Government Relations and Advocacy campaigns.
