Co-Hosted Awards Presentation to Celebrate Contractors and Projects
For the first time, CoatingsPro Magazine and AMPP will combine two awards programs (CoatingsPro’s Contractor Awards and AMPP’s new Project Awards) in a single celebration. The co-hosted event takes place Wednesday in the Exhibit Hall’s AMPPitheater.
While time and money are always lost when faced with a premature coatings or linings failure, the biggest loss is often that of reputation. In the final full day of forums at the 2023 AMPP Annual Conference + Expo, topics to be discussed include leadership behaviors to drive results; developing strategies and processes for successful corrosion control through protective coatings; and thermal and cold spray processes and applications in corrosion mitigation.

These posters, created by students from undergraduate and graduate programs around the world, showcase student research on a variety of topics in corrosion science, corrosion engineering, and applied corrosion technology.
Winners Announced for 2023 Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards
As part of this week’s conference, Materials Performance (MP) Magazine honored the winners of its 2023 MP Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards program. With a near-record total of more than 50 nominations, the winners represented a wide range of fields within the corrosion control and protective coatings industry.
